The 2025 – 2026 School Year
If the number of applications exceeds the number of seats available, the district is required to select students through a lottery.
The priority rankings are as follows:

Tier 1: Applicants who reside in Oklahoma City Public Schools District 1 & 2 and applicants with guardians currently employed by OPMI or serving on the OPMI School Board.

Tier 2: Applicants who reside in Oklahoma City Public Schools District 3-7
- 3
Tier 3: All other applicants.
Priority Applications will be accepted beginning November 1, 2024 through February 25, 2025. The first lottery will be February 28, 2025 (more information will be sent out regarding the Lottery process). Applicants will be notified no later than March 14 of their acceptance into OPMI or placed on a waitlist.
Applications will be accepted after March 14 on a first come first serve basis until all seats are filled. Once all seats are filled, the applicants will be placed on a wait list based on the application submission day.
